EasyPay Finance is a Carlsbad, California-based consumer finance company. It was established in 2001 and has been recognized by the Better Business Bureau since 2017. EasyPay Finance specializes in dealing with car maintenance and furniture businesses and offers customer payment arrangements for expenditures up to $5,000.

Several people have complained about EasyPay Finance on the internet. For example, the BBB presently has 372 complaints closed in the previous three years and 192 complaints closed over the past 12 months. The commonalities between these complaints and the complainants’ furious feelings give this collections company a less-than-stellar evaluation. More significantly, according to PACER, this collections organization might have been involved in a number of lawsuits, fines, and penalties.

EasyPay Finance Let Down a Customer

A complainant describes their long-running disagreement with EasyPay Finance. The complainant attempted to refute the allegations several times. This collections business, according to the complainant, created a bogus account in their name. The complainant claims that they did not open this account. When the complainant contacted the debt collection business about the mismatch, he was told that the company would not erase the account from their credit. The complainant contacted and called EasyPay Finance again but was unable to reach a person and is now trapped with negative credit for years as a result of a faulty account. This account is generating big issues for them now that they are attempting to purchase a house.

These Acts Give you the Right to File a Lawsuit

The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act specifies a person’s rights in the face of collection agency abuses and misbehavior. If you believe a debt collector has violated your FDCPA rights, you should contact an attorney immediately to address the case and get restitution. On the Federal Trade Commission’s website, under “Debt Collection FAQs,” you may discover a list of your FDCPA rights. Note that, in addition to your FDCPA rights, you have additional rights to protect yourself from fraudulent conduct under the Consumer Financial Protection Act (CFPA) and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). These acts give you the needed justification and right to file a lawsuit.
